As a first time mom blessed with identical twin girls, I was excited to dress up my little "ladies."  I had no trouble finding a multitude of trendy, stylish outfits for them.  What seemed harder to find were cute hair accessories.  I became frustrated as I searched department stores and boutiques for pretty and unique hair clips to match the girls' outfits.  Surprisingly, I found the inventory very limited, so I decided to make my own.  Before long, people began complimenting the girls' hair clips and asking me where I had purchased them. 

 

Being an amateur entrepreneur by nature and a determined "Type A" personality,  I became inspired.  I continued to experiment and create which ultimately led to the "birth" of A BABE IS BORN.  Now I use my creativity and spare time (who am I kidding....right?) and find joy in sharing my unique and trendy hair accessories with moms all over the globe.  Thanks for visiting!
